Youth Internship Program
The youth internship program is a job-shadowing opportunity for students to spend time with one or more employees at a business, non-profit organization, or government agency to get a first-hand perspective on the skills and tasks required on the job of interest. By participating in the youth internship program, students will gain hands-on experience, develop an understanding of the workforce, and establish professional contacts.
For this project, students will be required to participate in a work-site experience, compile a portfolio, write a research paper and give an oral presentation. Students will receive ½ high school credit for the completion of the youth internship program.
