Course Description
6th grade communication arts is a year long class that is required for all 6th grade students. The class meets everyday for 52 minutes. This course teaches students the essential skills and strategies that are used in all types of communication- reading, writing, listening, speaking, viewing, and representing. Students will learn to brainstorm ideas, produce articles, stories, and editorials using the writing process while constructing clear and effective sentences and paragraphs.
